Do you know what is better than an 8:00 a.m. meeting on a Monday morning? That 8:00 a.m. Monday morning meeting following the start of daylight savings time. Both of these things should be illegal.

DST starts on Sunday, not Monday.

funny

Well, yes I am aware that Dsylight Savings Time starts on Sunday but it takes more than a day to adjust one’s sleep schedule. Plus, 8:00 a.m. Monday morning meetings are ridiculously anyway. But having them the first morning after returning to the office after daylight savings begins is extra cruel. In my personal opinion anyway.

Have truly never understood why people have such issue with daylight savings time, is it annoying to change 2 dozen clocks in the house, sure, but beyond that no hug deal and it’s nice being light later.

Likewise we know when they did eliminate by making permanent during WW2 people hated how late it was dark in the morning.

It’s no big deal, pull on your big girl panties or man up and move on.

I have a recurring Monday AM call at 6:30 am so fml

Yikes!!! I am sorry that sounds just awful! Why do you have such an early morning meeting? Are you working remotely and everyone is in a different time zone so you’re stuck meeeting at 6:00 a.m. while for people in other time zones it’s like 9:00 a.m.?

Any meeting before 10 am Monday morning should be illegal

7AM daily touch point

Managers who schedule 8 am meetings on Mondays are pure assh***s.
