Michigan has top defense with one bad game
I agree UCF was dissed. This was maybe the best year to give them a shot, as well.
Maybe not...
UCF would not come close to beating Michigan if the two played
Based on what A1? Just random speculation that you believe Michigan is better... everyone always slangs hate that ucf, saying they would lose to anyone in top rung but it gets old after a while when they also aren’t given the chance to prove that either. Ucf has four conference titles in six years. Three BCS/NYE wins vs top ten P5 teams, 4 ten win+ seasons, has beaten auburn, Georgia and Baylor (back when they were good and inside top-7) in bowl games that everyone had them dogs by 10+. People just always say well if they played X they would get clobbered but the actual real #’s and games prove a totally different story. Sure if they played a Full SEC or Big 10 schedule etc they would likely not go undefeated and score 40+ a game like they have now for two years straight, but they also aren’t getting the $20-$40M per year that every P5 school gets by nature of simply being in those conferences so they are also doing all of this on a much smaller athletic budget. Player tougher schedule,.. ya ya they try. They spent $2M+ two years ago trying to get into big-12 who currently only has ten teams only to be told at last minute they weren’t going to expand. Two of their non conference games every year are vs ACC / PAC-10 schools not some powder puff team. Texas has them on their schedule and after last year cut the contract and decided they didn’t want to play ball after all. They’ll likely play LSU in fiesta bowl and beat them and then folks will say well LSU wasn’t hungry and didn’t care so win doesn’t mean anything. It is literally maddening when you actually look into this stuff. Meanwhile they just keep winning. At what point do they just get a shot or get moved up? Meanwhile folks who have maybe watched one game of theirs ever say, well they would obviously never beat team X...but I say again based on what? Shit they’ve even lost an entire coaching staff and a heisman candidate qb along the way and it still doesn’t matter.
