Have a call tomorrow to discuss an offer for IP director of a series c startup. I was told early on by HR that the comp was 180 base + bonus and equity. Can anyone provide insight on what type of bonus and equity I should expect? I believe bonus should be provided as a target % of base, but I’m not well versed in equity. The company is a Bay Area ag tech company but my position is fully remote. I have 6.5 YOE (but 5 of those years were as a patent agent).
