Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?
When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
Tata Consultancy Infosys Cognizant Wipro I have completed all the technical and HR rounds and salary discussion, documents submission also done. But all of sudden got mail from hr saying that my profile is kept on hold. Any possibility that I will receive offer letter or it will be in hold forever? Meantime can I attend interview for other positions in hcl?

Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Not at all
Always funny to see people who never post start to post right when they’re job searching….then stop a few months after the new job. Seems to be for optics only. Don’t bother if it feels forced.
No, I post very rarely (1-2 times a year) and get contacted by headhunters regularly. I think they just run a search for the role they are targeting, it’s not like they expect candidates to be brought into their feed by the algo.
Posting does not make a difference, networking does. Link up with individuals within companies you would like an interview. Contact their HR department and ask relevant questions about the hiring process or resume content.
I do think it makes a difference to recruiters reaching out tho for whatever that’s worth. They like a “presence” and “branding”. Doesn’t matter once your interviewing.
For more senior roles they like a profile. I don’t post at all but re recruiters have told me this.
If you have “too few” makes no difference if you post “too many” yeah that’s going to lose you interviews
Not at all. I never post on there and have gotten tons of interviews. I don't think it really matters at all.
