Does anyone else feel like it’s the hunger games out here when looking for a job? I’m on the verge of just saying “may the odds be in your favor” at this point because saying your time is coming soon just sounds useless.

What industries?! I’m getting blown up by recruiters daily and have had many interviews lately. Processes are slow but it’s because they’re looking for 2025 starts.

Have you looked into benefits consulting? One of my friends work in this space and it seems to be strong. Not sure if that’s aligned with what you want or your background.

I try to keep centered and remain confident that I will eventually find the right fit. There is nothing worse that faking it to land a survival job knowing that you will hate every day until you find a better gig.

May the odds be ever in your favor

I had two recruiters today reschedule a meeting. And this is the second time rescheduling. Honesty, not sure what value recruiters bring. Is this common now? Is it hard to have respect for people’s time and their schedule? Reschedule once I can understand. But twice is just stupidity. I hope AI wipes out all bad recruiters who don’t give af. Sorry for the vent. Maybe it’s just my bad luck then.
