Does anyone else feel like we're just living the same day over and over again? There was a time when I enjoyed this exact thing about my job, the fact that there's no guesswork and I know exactly what I'm going to do in the day. But now it's starting to be so frustrating and I feel like I've lost out on the joy of being a hiring manager. How do you shake things up and fall back in love with your job?

A lot of us think of our boredom as a lack of passion or to being a failure, but it really just means you need to find something outside of work to make your day different. Yes your job will be the same and that speaks volumes about how important your job is. It can never stop being the same because the results are always needed in the same way. Mix things up and try something new.

this is a good idea, i've found having hobbies outside of work/ something to look forward to can make the day go by faster

I think Bill Murray went through that experience, once.

funny

After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!
