Recently got a role at GCP as TAM (comp is pending) but I also got into bschool ; I was hoping to use bschool to transition into product management but I’m not conflicted as I got into my dream company. I see 3 options: 1, join GCP as TAM and forget about bschool 2, join the role but quit in several months to join bschool or 3, join google and hope bschool gives me a deferral. What would you do? GOC is a subsidiary of Google. It handles the non innovative side of google tasks. They used to contract it out to vendor agencies, then decided to create their own company to handle it. GOC handles a lot of customer service, procedural upkeep, financial tasks, hr tasks, writing tasks, really just a lot of everything.
To put it another way: GOC is a company that is part of Google that works for Google to make sure that Goggle can keep Googling.
