I have an old 2006 Camry that I am eventually looking to replace (it is currently worth 2k). Have always wanted to learn about cars and how to do stuff with it and would like to use this car as an opportunity to pick up a hobby. Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.

It’s interesting how ambition can actually be a bad thing. I want to make tens of millions and impact millions of people and leave a big legacy. But then the problem is with dreams that big I struggle so much to relax. I feel so much pressure to always be productive. I’m a human doing not a human being. And then I also think “well dang if I want to accomplish all these things I should be further by now” which that isn’t good for mental health either. I wish I was content with less

I’m a newly graduate from a community college. My program of study was Health Information Technician. I passed my RHIT exam a month ago, and I’ve been applying to jobs in state, out of state, and remotely to only receive “sorry you were not selected email.”I don’t have experience and I know that’s the reason I’m not getting selected. I’ve applied for receptionist, medical biller/coordinator, and medical clerk. Even with inflation willing to work for minimum wage or less just to gain experience.
