Hello Fishes,
Has anyone got call from management regarding back to office? My base location is Bangalore and management seems to be in progress of calling employees back to work approx after 18th April.
Does anyone have any idea what's the management decision about back to office? Is it confirmed or still planning?

The process of transfer requires approvals from project, current location RMG and dest location RMG. Best way to approach was...
First initiate a mail chain to your immediate supervisor and project approver asking for approval, then talk with location Location RMG and say project is ready for my transfer. Then location RMG should&will try for ISU and dest location RMG approvals.. if all this goes well then you have to raise a travel request for 365+ days in GESS as self initiated transfer(for faster approvals) if you choose company initiated transfer they will not approve because it is cost to project. All the people who approved above on mail should again approve in system too.. this was the process before all these layoffs... All the best
I remember a case where the dest location rmg didnot agree for a candidate transfer because current loc rmg didnot initially inform them before the transfer process that the candidate doesnt have project/odc at dest location
So if your project have valid won at dest location it might work.. if they dont and manager just said we will transfer you just for sake of keeping you in project it might be a false promise bcos after all this they will just say we tried but rmg is not agreeing like that

I have got all level approvals over email and have initiated the self initiated transfer in Ultimatix.
I want to know about Asset part that how is handled, do I need to ask anyone or it will be automatically taken care as part of the process?
How long it normally takes to get the new asset in the destination location?

You can apply for a self transfer yourself to your project location. It has to be approved by your manager
