Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. Have over 10+ years exp in mobile technologies. And I'm kind of bored now. Cloud and Devops interests me and I'm an AWS certified developer.
Should I pursue Devops or do something else in the mobility domain? Cracking interviews for Devops at this stage of my career is difficult since I don't have a project experience and only personal projects and the expectation is at an architect level. Any guidance please?
