I moved to USA in 2017 on F1 visa. I was not selected for H1-B in the 3 years of my OPT. While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. The thought of moving to another country in a couple of months is causing a lot of anxiety and tough luck with the lottery is making me feel depressed.

Any suggestions on how to cope with the situation? (Please be considerate in the comment) Thanks in advance!

What happens after L1 visa I140 approval EB2 category?

I am currently in the OPT grace period (about 15 days left) and was notified that I was selected in the second h1b lottery. I have no idea how this works. I don’t think my company can file by the end of the grace period. Does that mean I have to leave the country and return October 1? What other info do I need to know?

Has anyone done an online DrPh while working full time? If so- was it manageable? Would love to chat with you about your experience :)

Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? Planning on going back to home country and also getting the visa issuance in Dec. Similar experience, anyone? Appreciate your input.

Has anyone dealt with a therapist not being able to see you (virtually) while you are temporarily located in another state? I’m struggling with coordinating my work and when I’ll be in my home state with my sessions because apparently I can only be seen when I’m physically in my home state. Are there different types of lisences I should look for that would allow someone to treat me while traveling? It’s all very confusing…

Been living in a luxury building for about a year and start noticing that I have a mild cough when I’m in the building. I'm an RN of 7 years, experience as a coordinator, on committees and do all the things. But now I just don't want to go to work anymore. I have anxiety every morning over nothing, just having to go perform my job. I could do my job in my sleep so I'm just lost and confused. My body is clearly sending me messages to leave. 180k condo in booming area close to downtown or 85k condo in the suburbs?

I make 150, with no debt (car, student loans, etc), graduated 2021, and want to ensure I can invest and live comfortably. The total payment/HOA difference between the two is $1250 and $550 per month.

I’m thinking the appreciation will be much better in the 180K condo, but I think the 85K condo will allow me to invest in more rentals.

Weirdly enough renting in the same areas would be $1500+ for a smaller place🤷🏽‍♂️
