We have a four day work week here in Buffer! Our employees are a lot less burnt out and have been more productive since we implemented it back in 2020.
Do you mind sharing what company it is? Thanks
We've switched over to a four day work week here at Perpetual Guardian since 2018 and have only had positive outcomes because of it.
I've been trying to convince my team to allow this for going on 3 years now lmao. I feel like I am close to breaking them.
The only news that I have read is about companies in Europe. It might be good to contact them and make them convince the teams here!
My company does not but that would be really nice. It is more common in Europe than here, but would love to work for a company that adopts it.
I don't think it's a smart idea to adopt it with Vancouver employees. Everything is already backed up, and let's be honest, they're not the most efficient.
In the 90s, Vancouver City Hall had a four-day work week. That was taken away from them, and many members of the public despised the idea that city employees had to work four days a week.
In 2017, Wildbit implemented a four-day work week and claimed increased staff satisfaction and efficiency.
Four day workweek would be nice. I will have more time to recharge and have more energy spend in the workplace. That would make a good WLB for every employee so they can spend more time with their family.
I know media.monks has a 4 day work week.
