“Looked down on” isn’t the correct way to put it. These are different programs. It makes sense to attend part time if you are doing well in your career and need a rubber stamp, especially if you are an immigrant who hasn’t attended any US university. Or it’s fully paid.

Largely +1 to this.
It’s relatively unlikely that the part-timers will career pívot or see the significant salary jump associated with full-time programs.
I don’t think people look down on part-time programs but they do acknowledge Parton programs are often less selective and have lower corresponding statistics such as GMAT.

Yes it’s a meaningful difference
There are differences in these programs and I feel like you should do what works for you and your career.
There are differences, like maybe you won't be going to all the events sinve you also will have a job. I think full time is better for people who want to pivot or take a break. It's also geared towards a younger crowd whereas (check the age range for part time) part time is a more spread out range of ages and experiences. But I know ppl who wanted to do part time exactly just to keep a source of income and because they wanted to learn and get the skills or move up in their current company.
Also from what I've heard, there's not a ton of interaction between part time and full time students. if you're in the part time program why do you care about what the full time students think about you? If someone told me they looked down on a part time student, I'd probably say they need to check their privilege
