If a lien was placed in one persons name on a property held in joint tenancy with survivorship and the party who’s name was on the lien (one of the joint tenants) dies what is the status of the lien?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Pro se plaintiff, an attorney, filed a complaint alleging mold defects after closing on a property. Client, layperson, may have agreed orally to a settlement amount without proof of damages prior to filing appearance and obtaining an attorney. Client filed appearance pro se, then plaintiff sent over a draft settlement agreement few weeks later which client didn’t sign. Client then got an attorney, filed answer, etc. Can this oral agreement be voided for coercion, indefinite mat’l term, etc?

Has anyone ever heard of this type of real estate private equity fund structure:

-One LLC, so only one PPM
-Multiple investors that can be onboarded anytime
-Multiple investments that investors can determine whether or not they want to invest in
-One K-1 per investor based on their investments and income
-Ability for the Sponsor/Fund to invest directly, indirectly and in equity, debt, Pref, etc.
To me this seems extremely cumbersome and would require multiple classes of (cont’d)
