Anyone else look in the mirror and have trouble internalising the fact that they’re pregnant? Im 5.5 months and it still is conceptually so weird.

I felt this way! My baby is here now, 16 weeks old, and I *still* can’t wrap my head around the fact that she grew inside me. Like. I grew her. 🤯 Her organs, bones, skin, hair, teeth, nails. Honestly, it still blows my mind and is so weird to me too!

I’m at 5.5 too. Sometimes I just think my stomach looks like I am fat and I binge ate for a few months 😂

Yes!! 14 weeks and it’s insane. There is a *human* *inside of me*!!

(Though when I said that to my husband he went down the path of, “but is it a human? Is it really your daughter yet?” 🙄 I’m like dude, just let me enjoy my awe and amazement!)

So glad I’m not the only one! Also because when I lie down the bump is very not obvious but I still have this constant pulse of kicking and dancing on my bladder to remind me there’s something LIVING inside of me…

It didn’t start feeling real to me until this week at 30 weeks. And I think that’s because he’s now constantly kicking me, and I’m starting to feel huge

like

YES! I’m even 8mo pregnant and it still blows
me away that I’m actually pregnant with a lil bb kicking inside of me.

Yup. 33 weeks today. Still weird. :))

I’m 8 months pp and still surreal!

Same. Its weird.

Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.
