Does working as a contractor for a FAANG company give you an advantage in the job market? Does the experience actually validate your competency? Or does the label of contractor not give you the same treatment as a full time employee?

When my job is to handle all the corporations issues does it ever get hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Like that this business will survive? It will get its next round of funding?
