Majority do cover at least a few thousand dollars worth a year. I think most do it as reimbursements.

like

Yes although our reimbursement process can be hard to navigate especially if you have multiple certs. On the flip side if they send you to sans or something you are expected to take the cert.

I'm reaching the point in my career where visibility in the company is more important for promotions than my technical skills. I hate networking with a burning passion. Should I just give up on getting promotions? I already make more money than I need.

Hey Cyber friends! I’m a life long professional creative looking to get out. I’m fascinated by Cybersec/Infosec and have been learning a small amount. Tryhackme + YouTube + beginning to learn some python. However, I’m well aware that these baby steps don’t compare to the real job.

My questions: do you like what you do? Would you recommend the field or your discipline to a friend? What is the best and worst part of your job? Grateful for any and all responses. Thanks for letting me lurk! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
