Has anyone made the leap from Account Management to Product Management? Prior to being in an AM position I was a Creative Producer.

I don’t have much experience on the back end of product management but have extensive experience in front end development/user experience.

I studied, earned certs, and worked hard to get to where I am. Is it bc of my gender and age?
