Downsized 8 months ago and nothing hopeful. In a desperate state as I am the breadwinner for my family - unemployment has also run out. I have applied to jobs with half of my prior salary and overqualified but at this point I need something. I'm think these employers won't hire me as they know I will still continue to look for another position. I am also an older professional with 25+ years experience. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated.

I work in commercial real estate retail leasing. Current employer just increased base to $100k with avg. 20-35% bonus/commissions combined. Received offer to exclusively work for a tenant and help them open new locations. $115k base 10% bonus & also stock options. Remote work, lots of driving, similar job title. Its a VC funded startup & aggressively growing. I’ve never worked for a start up, so curious what everyone’s experiences are and any feedback would be super appreciated thank you!!

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? Hi everyone. I was a solution engineer at Oracle. I graduated from college in May and this was my first job out of college so the lay offs were pretty rough. I majored in Supply chain management and I have 2 internships under my belt. Do you guys have any advice or tips on what to do moving forward?
