One day a client will ask you a question you can’t answer and the world won’t end and the client won’t think you’re dumb and then you learn that the real trick is managing client / leader expectations
I go through it too. To prepare myself, I ask myself questions that I would expect the client to ask me. If I can get a peer or a superior to listen my dress rehearsal, I do that too. This I don’t do for all presentations, but major ones.
I have accepted the fact that o won’t have all answers , but I will find them and respond back. Following through is critical.
Breathe in for a count of 4 through your nose then exhale out your mouth for a count of 4. Pause if you're asked a question you can't answer rather than fill the silence with filler words, then ask for more time to reflect on the question and carry on with your presentation.
Helps to remember to breathe. If you try to speak louder, you will inherently breathe and speak through the jitters which are easier to hear and feel when trying to talk slow or quite
