Everyone says I’m doing great. Manager gave me top marks. But every time I present, my voice shakes. Every deck feels like it’s missing something. I’m terrified one day a client will ask a question I can’t answer and the whole illusion will shatter. How do I get rid of this constant fear? Anyone know how to beat the anxiety?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Evening! Dog owners who live in condo rentals downtown.. did you tell your landlord you had a dog? I’m in a rental with a lease that says no pets (i’m sure a common clause?) and i didn’t have any pets moving in. 6 months in, i got a puppy lol. I don’t want to invite potential conflict by updating my landlord, my lawyer partner says the no pets clause is void in toronto anyway - but I worry about a bad landlord reference if they find out i.e come for repairs.
