Anyone work for EY?
New to Fishbowl?
unlock all discussions on Fishbowl.

From thought to finish, WE'RE GONNA BEEEEE NUMBER 1.
EY is better place to work , but strength of practice- definitelyACN.
EY. Will appear to be biased but really isn't. I've worked both places and there's no comparison on culture
EY is a relatively new entrant in Cyber and consulting in general. Their pipeline and execution capability is nowhere close to ACN or Deloitte
ACN cyber here, been here almost 2 years and it's a great group of people and a lot of variety of projects. If ur coming from a competing firm, they'll throw a lot of money at u to get u. Not sure about EY, but my experience with big 4 is they don't feel they have to negotiate. EY is certainly trying to invest in that area as well and I hear they have a lot of short term projects, which has its own benefits. Most people here (at least my group) get staffed on 6 month - 2 year engagements, so be ready for that.
Cool thanks for the feedback. I'm in the last round with EY Cyber. If it doesn't work out I was thinking ACN would be my next stop.
3.5 ain't bad either. Ask for 115 and work your way from there. Worst case is you won't leave money on the table.
Everything I hear from my ACN buddies suggest EY for sure. Why do you say ACN for strength of practice EY 3?
What are the salary bands they gave u?
Didn't know that was a thing. Didn't get the offer yet. What's the best you think I could get as SA1? 1.5 yrs cyber (industry) + 2 yrs IT Audit (KPMG). Just got notification of promo to SA1 at K but not sure what salary is going to be.
I'd shoot for 120, heard the top of the band there is 125 for SC.
Yeah I don't think they're gonna come in even near that number. I'll be happy to crack $100k with a nice signing bonus
Hey man, don't shoot urself short. 5 years of experience is easily worth 100k anywhere. If u wanna be conservative, say 115. U can def get that at ACN. Where r u based?
NYC. Only reason I don't think I'm worth more is because it's only 3.5 total, 2 of which isn't in Security.
