Folks, I had a screening call at Merrill- BofA and landed a second interview with the Market Leader for the office I applied to. My meeting is next Wednesday. I applied to FSA Registration Program. What should I expect im this conversation and how should I prepare for it? Where should be my focus on my answers ?

The position is a great dual role banker/advisor all in one that can help clients with everything on the bank side like lending/credit cards checking savings to investing and financial planning through Merrill products and services
Lean hard on any relationship building and ability to uncover and grow balances from new and existing clients
Obviously the first goal is to get through licensing exams but then the training through the academy is actually really good for new advisors
Then after licensing the main goal is converting existing and new bank clients into Merrill clients and growing your book of business. Think talking CD clients into more long term investments through planning conversations
Happy to answer any other questions and good luck!
Thank you so much bud! I look forward to getting this opportunity
Heard nothing but bad things about them. Good place to learn I guess though.
Interesting. I wonder if that’s a regional thing with Chase. I’ve heard both sides but it seems that everyone in my market has either gone select or is well on their way to become a select advisor. So far I’m doing well enough to graduate in a reasonable time
