Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Are they pushing for EB2 category? If so why? EB1 doesn’t need Perm..
Eb3 because I have a master level qualification but not necessarily an official undergrad.
I thought all L1As were automatically EB1, and thus no PERM
That's what I thought but they are saying because I wasnt a manager for at least 1 yr outside if the US they cant push eb1
You have to be under managerial capacity abroad to qualify for EB1..... if you came to Us as L1B then later on switch to L1A, mostly you don’t qualify for EB1, hence, need the PERM.
M1 3 years rule doesn’t applies to you as it’s the same company.

I'm in the same boat and yes your legal team is correct, you need PERM since you don't have 1 year in a managerial position outside of the US to qualify for EB1C.
Title doesn’t matter, you need to be in managerial capacity in foreign country. You should try to discuss with your attorney and push for eb1c
