Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

I'd imagine it varies by profession and the hiring manager, of course. But I don't think there is anything wrong with mentioning you had received another offer that is making the decision more difficult and asking if their budget allows them to match as it's the only factor delaying your final decision. I would keep it simple.
There's nothing unethical about it. If you can leverage it to your benefit, more power to you. Just be tactful about it.
Imagine you’re selling your car and you have multiple offers. You like one buyer better than the others just because, but you don’t want to do yourself a disservice and sell your car at a lower price, so you’re willing to work with them to see if they can pay a higher price. They like the car and you get the higher pay.

As has been said, it's not unethical, but then you put yourself in a game of poker. If they call your bluff, you wnd up getting stuck with the role you didn't want, or worse, lise the potential altogether.
It's the same reason I suggest not trying to negotiate with job postings that you've come across, that's akin to bluffing with a crap hand. It can work out famously, but you also have to be willing to lose big.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it - it shows that you have leverage. I would just do so with a lot of tact
I have a fiduciary responsibility to my family. I am using whatever leverage I have.
