About $8-10k, including restaurants and occasional travel. It’s hard to imagine spending less these days. No offense, but $4k for two people sounds quite frugal.

I easily spend about 2500-3000 per month excluding rent.

Excluding one-off large purchases, I spend about $2k/mo for one person plus some family bills, excluding mortgage. Utilities are easily the biggest piece. I don’t eat out often or online shop much, and my only subscription fee is subsidized Hulu through my T-Mo plan. I order food delivery maybe 1x/mo and go pick up food 3-4x/mo so I don’t have to pay service and delivery fees. When I want something I just buy it, but I offend easily at how ridiculously some things are priced, so my discretionary spend overall is pretty modest.
I think my wife and my credit cards come out to a combined 5-6k / month

About 5.5k for me and spouse. This includes 700-800 a month in takeout and 700-800 a month in restaurant spending, so I guess you guys are doing quite well if you don’t have either of these two admittedly quite luxurious expense items.
