For those of you who have homeschooled or are currently homeschooling: what made you choose it? And for those who haven’t, is it something you’ve ever considered?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you see as the biggest benefits, the hardest parts, or what you wish more people understood about homeschooling.

What is annual salary increase for SA at Alvarez and Marsal? I applied for director role but offered SA since I have extensive industry experience but no prior consulting. I was offered additional compensation paid out over first year but concerned the annual increase will be less than the first year additional pay. If 15% increase reasonable for SA or only with promotion?

Are Analysts expected to travel while working for the consulting practise at Deloitte India? How often is one staffed on/rotated across projects?

(1) What are your experiences with Regeneron? Burn and churn culture or reasonable people you would work with long term? (2) what BC/TC would you target for AD within global development?

Anyone that works for DOD have trouble getting their CAC? I work with the Navy and haven't heard anything about issuing a CAC. Did they stop issuing out CACs?

Friends, need some feedback on an idea:

I’m thinking of starting a podcast interviewing leaders at startups about their experience with specific challenges - I know, cliche, get a more original hobby, etc.

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

Why has it been so dang hard to move from banking to a strategy role in my industry or expertise? What’s a fair expectation for my first raise? Publicly traded co with ~2500 employees. I’ve been doing litigation with the company for almost 3 yrs and have only had a 2% cost of living raise so far. For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. how common is the 40x rule (landlords want you to make at least 40x the rent)?? i’m looking to move to nyc and want a studio, so narrowing down my search to find a studio <2k feels impossible, esp in a convenient location. any insight would be helpful!
