Hi All, I've completed two years in my current company and I was recently released from my project and my manager is trying to assign me to a new project hopefully.
My question is, will my promotion happen as I was eligible for the same and I was released to the bench as I'll be moving on to another project soon. Can someone enlighten me on this?

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!! My typical cycle length is 23-24 days. We have been TTC for almost 2 years and I am wondering if my cycle length has got to do anything with this. I am so depressed working in banking. I have only been at it for a couple months, but I feel intellectually stifled, sleep deprived, I haven’t been able to workout at all, and like I’m losing friends.

Anyone deal with this before: I inherited a severely under developed team including a sr analyst who clearly was doing the bare minimum, if that. Over the last 6 months I have had to coach him and correct simple mistakes in his work and recently it got so bad that I told him he would receive a low rating in his evaluation. He lashed out, involved HR saying he doesn’t understand why, and now my review points out stuff that I would have let slide.
