Ok might be unpopular opinion but when I moved to another city last year, I was obvi just trying to furnish my place so I bought this.

And by golly it’s the best bed I’ve ever slept on. Considering buying another one to replace my bed at my parents’ house since I’ve been staying there during covid.

I find it uncomfortable and the box spring is slightly shorter than the mattress.
Instead of specific brands, you should be looking at what type of mattress you're getting (memory foam, hybrid, spring). It doesn't matter if you get a $2000 foam mattress with raving review, if you don't like memory foam. I prefer my bed to be more firm, so that takes memory foam options off my list immediately. Do your own research and use the filter option on amazon.

Recently got a Purple Hybrid and sleeping much better
We use to have Casper and returned it for a Purple. Our local mattress store had all of the Purple models for us to try out. We went with Purple 3. SO worth it and the free pillows are life changing.

For everyone saying Purple - there’s actually a better version of the gel beds called Intellibed. Bit more expensive but significantly better quality. Absolutely worth the investment. My biggest complaint is that now hotel beds don’t seem quite as nice 🤷🏼♂️

Ohh yeah this. If you go the foam route, get something with latex. I never knew this existed until I stayed at a B&B with a latex pillow. It was a dream and I bought them immediately when I got home.
Gift and needle. Fairly priced and comfortable.
