Majority of the revenue for luxury brands is from high class, so I wouldn't expect them to suffer more than the non-luxury industries.
If anything, it may help them since they are now cutting costs on operations. Rich peeps will go online to buy their bragging items 👠🛍👛👒

SA1 - aspirationals do the bragging. The actual deep pockets are the high end rich who are not really affected by what's going on right now. They are the one going from 20 million down to 15 million. Their Gucci bags are not getting sacrificed.
Ultra luxury brands like Hermes and Patek will fare much better than mass-market luxury brands like Gucci and Montblanc, for sure. Not great, but better.

I probably spend north of 20k on luxury goods annually. Tally this year so far? Zero. Scared of getting laid off and have a kid now. All about staying liquid at this point. Sorry Cartier, keep the catalogues coming though :D
