I want out of advertising. The highs are so high, but the lows are too low. No amount of money or creative fulfillment is worth simply coexisting with my husband or fearing that I can’t have kids because of a JOB. It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better.
