Found out I’m having twins at 8 weeks. No one in my or my husband’s family has twins so was not expecting it at all and am so shocked. While I am very very excited, I’m also worried as twins usually have higher risk. Anyone else expecting or have twins? What was your experience like?

How do you best leverage a job offer when you don’t want to leave? In the running for a VP job (higher level than now) that pays $70k higher than what I currently make. I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.

Trigger: rare illness post birth

Just sharing that I was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia 3 days after giving birth despite not having risk factors or preeclampsia in my pregnancy. Sharing as I had absolutely no idea about this illness.

Main things to do are check your BP everyday at least the first ten days after you give birth, and go to hospital if it's very high (over 160/110). If you get severe headache or stomach ache then also be vigilant.
