I would consider that a bullet dodged.
If they treat you like this in the interview process, it will only be worse in the job.
I mentally assume every interview outcome is a no unless I hear otherwise. I send my thank yous, follow up once or twice, and then force myself to mentally put it behind me. Unfortunately I’ve been ghosted many times, including after final rounds. It’s unprofessional and there is no excuse for it, but it’s becoming the norm. Kind of like dating.

Being pessimistic here helps. If you hear back from them, that is a bonus.
I’m betting the hiring manager is on vacation Spring Break for kids a lot of teams are out on vacation and one thing they delegate is the hiring! Keep head up but if it goes past next week move on and don’t look back.
Or the hiring manager was laid off suddenly.
I literally went through that this week. I spoke to the recruiter initially, then was moved into a round one with the hiring manager. That went well and they gave me the thumbs up to go with round two which was the panel interview. It got scheduled a few days out and the day before the panel round the recruiter Told me they were closing the role and opening up individual ones in a few weeks. Supposedly they will reschedule me but I’m not sure I’ll actually hear back but we’ll see. Sounds like we had a similar experience.
