Yes I (personally) think prices will hit a low in February. They might start to tick back up in March and continue to, but a lot will depend on when companies start requesting employees back.
Winter is traditionally the lowest priced apartments anyway, however there’s usually much more limited inventory. This year there’s obviously a ton more inventory and many apartments have been sitting vacant.
I know many people are thinking about moving back in March/April once the weather starts to turn, so demand may rise a bit.

I’d also get a letter of support from your old landlord - you can draft it up and just have them review/sign it. Some places like to see this
Actually know people that re-signed back in Feb/March/April before we really knew what was up with covid. Some of those people still want to move out. So I think prices stay down or continue to go down. There are tons of empty apartments still.
