Interviewing for MBB...how do I spin my tech implementation experience to strategy consulting?
I have left Deloitte after accepting another offer ( waiting to start the new role and taking time off between) . Now another dream role reached out to me for an interview. Should I tell them I am no longer with Deloitte if the HR asks? They had my old resume. Has anyone been though this situation? My main dilemma is I don’t know what to say why I left the job since the main reason was the new offer.
Question to my peeps who left public accounting. Do you get paid your vacation and holiday balance when you quit?

What do all these exiting consultants actually do at tech companies that make over 250k with less than 5YOE? I’m 4YOE in NY and even with my stock doubling during covid I only make 170k. Did all these consultants switch to being a SWE?

Question here - been at a new job for a bit and have discovered that the culture is extremely misogynistic. It’s been 6 months and I have had to go to HR twice. Advice needed: company I admire contacted me for an interview (PM/Program Manager role). They were acquired in the spring and no longer offer equity. The role is very much a role for a startup tho, think small team - lots to organize & scale. When i asked salary range they said it’s decided after interview process. What would you say is a reasonable salary to ask for? Position is 5 YOE PM and Program Manager (i have 5.5 YOE in both). My spouse feels 150K is reasonable. I’m at 125k rn. Thoughts?

I'm a tech consultant with 1 YOE. Im wondering if I should trade my current job: 80k TC, fully remote, ~45 hrs/week, fantastic company and team, and really fun projects, for a new opportunity: 125k TC, 100% in person, ~60 hrs/week, unknown team and company dynamics?
