getting super frustrated at my job. it seems like the workers that don’t actually do their job and don’t put effort into anything get more hours compared to the rest of us that keep the bar and gaming area spotless. i spend most of my shift cleaning up after the opener and undoing everything they’ve messed up then have to go on and do my own duties. why am i expected to do the work of two people and the lazy people aren’t being penalised. instead they’re being rewarded.

Here’s my plan of attack:
- $30K saved right now ($20K in IBonds and $10K cash)
- $90K saved by July 2023
-$130K saved by 2023 and target a $800K home

I’m really discouraged. My after tax / after 401k contributions etc. take home pay is $6,500 monthly. I have $60,000 in savings / stocks for a down payment but even looking at a $550,000 home, my monthly payment would be about $3,400 from the calculators I’ve been using. Is that too high?

So discouraged that houses where I live are about 50% higher than what they were 2 years ago, and now interest rates are around 5.25% for my credit score. This is like a 1750 sq foot home

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.
