Ghostwriting pays the bills, but after doing this for several months, I think I'm losing my voice. How do other writers here keep their own creative identity strong when most of their day is spent writing for someone else?

They write for themselves for fun whether it's a blog, substack or creative writing

That is the answer: keep your personal projects going on the side. Truth is, a lot of jobs you’ll be writing for the client and making sure you check off their boxes instead of your own.

I get to/got to write mostly in my own voice, but still--two things help me: One, I write outside work, even if it's just a a funny email to a friend; two, I sketch out bits in my head, after reading a book/story by someone else, just to try out new situations or characters or voices.

By the way... I very much need ghostwriting work. How does one go about getting it, please?

The argument that climate change is not man-made has been disproven by science over and over again, yet many people believe that the global crisis is either not real, not of our making, or both, in part because the news media deliberately chooses not to talk about it because it doesn't sell enough.

"Don't Look Up" is as real as it can be.

Greetings from Madison, Wisconsin. I am a firm believer that this will not change for a long time, local TV will continue to live as long as we stand for it.
