Hi there. Myself and a photographer are joining forces to build a creative “agency”. We’re having some trouble figuring out how to give pricing and packages in a way that helps clients understand what they’re getting on design/photography side and how we came to our estimate. We don’t want to give much leeway for them to pick and choose what tasks or functions we can “do without” if there is a need to negotiate but also want to remain transparent about the breakdown of cost. Advice appreciated!

Looks likely that this FET cycle is going to get canceled (was potentially going to be this weekend) since the lining doesn’t seem to be thick enough. I have been using this emoji 🙏 and saying to so many colleagues and clients “I’ll pray for you” with such warm and genuine receipt that I think sometimes God uses hopelessness to open people’s hearts to Him. I’ve spoken about my faith to work people more than I ever have in my 20 year career. In such a dark time, what a light prayer can be for our coworkers and clients.

It has been hard to find a church in NYC where your friends with kids around 12yo are not moving to somewhere else.

Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.
