Are you on a new plan with Omnicom? Check with the insurance company directly. What may have happened is that you’re out of network with your old provider as the policy has been terminated, but now that bill will be handed over to the new provider. This just happened to me when i changed plans/jobs. EOBs that were declared in-network became out-of-network but my new primary insurance will now cover it. Depending on the providers, the changeover can be messy or have a lag. So don’t panic until you have all the info.
If this doesn’t get you anywhere, check the different plans available through Omnicom. Consider a higher cost plan that allows out-of-network coverage. If you speak to your Benefits Co-ordinator or Head of Benefits, you’d be surprised what they can do to override start dates. Especially if you have good reason (which you do).
This also happened to me when switching jobs despite the front desk assuring me I was covered + everything was in order.

Aetna is out of network?
You can sometimes get a doctor to override your prescription so that it’s covered. I know that doesn’t solve the doctor issue, but one step at a time.
