Got an offer from a boutique mgmt consulting firm for a director role.
180K base, 15% bonus, 4 weeks vacation. no sign on bonus. total take home approx 207K. work is remote + travel to client.

What's my room to negotiate? or is this market right now? comps that i'm looking at (deloitte, pwc etc) show total take home anywhere between 200 to 300K.

Hello Fishes, is 15 LPA a reasonable compensation for Machine learning engineer (python, c++, computer vision and deep learning ) with 2 years of experience, current working for a product based company. If not what is the current industry standard. I keep seeing people posting 30+ LPA for data science roles with 3+ yoe.

My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable
