Hi All! I need some quick advice. Is it better to go for a MBA (over 17k in debt) or a ProSic certification? My company would cover the cert, but they don’t offer any tuition reimbursement, unfortunately… I want to be at the Director level in 5years, but I’ve heard I need a graduate degree to even be considered… I’ve considered leaving my current company just for better benefits/pay.

Does anyone work at a firm where legal assistants don't do legal assistant things? For example, I have to do my scheduling and calendaring. I have to upload documents to our file management system. This morning, a name partners assistant didn't realize the name partner had a depo and didn't confirm it. This is how this firm as been for decades and it's incredibly frustrating to work this way. I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!
