In all seriousness, I’d try to lateral to S&. Many of our practices are oversold and we will certainly hire high performers from Deloitte. Presuming you don’t have an MBA you’d likely come in at the highest level of Associate (100k base + 15-25k bonus), but within a year you’d be at 148k base.
Does S& require a MBA to move up? Just got a MS and not really looking to go back if I don’t have to
Definitely doable - if you aren’t making the numbers you want, lateral to another firm, but keep bridges with leaders solid (consulting is a small world and a former colleague/coworker/boss today may be a managing partner/client exec in the future).
Making hops have helped me in my progression both in terms of comp + position, just be sure to have a story ready on your moves
Certainly. I graduated 2017 and I’m 100K and looking at promotion this year to 148K
Which firm a1
Graduated 2014, current salary 141 before bonus. Definitely possible for you.
M / DFW, recently got an offer for M at D for 150
Yes
You're gonna need to try really hard if you're talking salary. Total comp... More likely
Graduated 2015, current salary at 140k. Left consulting for it. Product management.
Yes, receive options. I’ve found that outside of actual engineering roles, for my level of experience, it is still high compared to my peers.
Total comp is fine. Any suggestions on how to get there? Stick to big D sounds like it might be difficult
Total comp, yes. Base, no. If you stay at D.
How are you getting so much money? I graduated 2011 and earning less than you guys...
