Any idea how this affects comp? New P&T aligned comp hadn’t even been released yet. Would that have likely been below consulting pay, but now we’ll be more closely aligned with consulting?

Yeah I heard that. It seemed some thought pay might be more aligned with consulting if we fall under it. Now it seems there’s a chance that might not be the case?
I have been in two separate Q&A sessions so can’t say it was all silent. And most people I speak with are positive about the change.
Hmm interesting. Is proedge finally moving into digital so we stop wasting time and resources by effectively duplicating teams?
If already lives in Business Services (inside of P&T GTM). It’s moving wholesale into consulting under the GTM umbrella.
Given it’s a cornerstone tech that is consumed firm-wide, it makes good sense to put it closer to the ‘customer.’
GTM is pretty useless for most of our “products”, which don’t actually act like products from a sales/license/renewal perspective (a whole other topic). They largely support politically important money pits. If they want to go do that while aligned to consulting, more power to them.

Suneet and Darren are running the GTM pillar into the ground.
They announce a major move and then climb into a hole to ‘figure out’ what they just announced.
Change Management Pro Tip: You don’t announce a change of this magnitude through an ad hoc all hands and then go radio silent for a week with no details.
Your ‘team’ is losing faith.
The level of incompetence of these two is maddening.
What are you talking about?? The strategy, announcements and tactics seem to be rolling out as I would have expect… and leadership has been open, available and transparent with multiple org, team and individual Q&A sessions. I feel like it’s a great move and can see what it means for both the business and me personally. Maybe it’s you who is out of touch??

Staying in P&T from what I can ascertain.
What are all the folks going to do?
If by ‘the folks’ you mean the GTM that’s coming over … the idea is for them to lock arms with their counterparts in consulting and amplify and scale the breadth of P&T capabilities we have to offer our clients.
Easier said than done, however, it’s much better than them sitting outside of client service.
Remember, that many of the GTM actually came from consulting so there’s a natural alignment to their roots as former consultants who understand product.
Where /when did this get announced?
Yesterday on an impromptu GTM all hands call right before the broader firm wide all hands. They were smart to hold the call to quell rumor mill, but there are no details.
All GTM leaders are in NY this week and likely working through the finer details of what this actually means.
Likely more questions than answers at this juncture as it’s hot off the press. We sensed they want to make it effective ASAP.
