I am happy. My alternative would have been skimming junk from molten steel furnace. #mechanical
๐๐ Happy for you :)
I feel it sometimes. Had I stayed in tech , I would be making more than right now as a t1 mba grad. But then I consider the fact that MBA salaries cross tech salaries at the 10 yr mark and grow much more than the ceiling in tech and I feel a little better. But till itdoes , I might feel a little bad. I see coders with 3-4 yrs yoe making 40 -80 lpa . Basically 2018 grads same yr as me making more without an MBA as I do with one.
I get that, during my campus placements the students who opted for tech companies in 2016 are in a way better position.
I have frnd from mba batch who graduated in 2016 had 3 yrs exp in coding at a good company and then did mba from t1 and joined msft as a product manager and are making less than their 2018 -2019 grads who stayed in coding since graduation. They feel even worse. Sometimes I wish this tech salary bubble explodes and all these coding salaries fall back to the pre covid era times.
Lol! This tech bubble is real.. have personally worked with techies in a cross functional project. The bubble sounds even more horrifying to me...
