Yes. Just look around. P&T is no longer hiring local devs and moving work to AC / offshore teams. Leadership is also doubling down on technology stacks - Python, JavaScript, C#
Good languages to double down on. Nothing wrong with any of them for front end. Back end or data science work
Anywhere you go as a dev there will be an offshore component unless you are pure startup. So In this industry you need to be good at dealing with an offshore/nearshore model. New stuff will have a mix. Keep the lights on stuff will be mostly offshore. Even if you are hiring onshore it’s highly likely that more then 2/3 of your candidates are from India and looking for h1b. And with remote work now the advantages of onshore are eroded. If it can be done remotely…it can be done offshore. The biggest issue really is the time zone but they are opening a nearshore in Mexico soon. Be the person who knows how to make offshore work.

It’s ridiculous and they are pretty bad. During interviews they can’t even initialize an Array. 🤦. I think I’m done with PwC. Time to bounce
