So I just got fired…. And was told I’d get two months severance… I’m in utter shock since I just got back from the hospital. I was told I needed to improve my performance in January and all the check ins I’ve had I was told I’m doing much better and was put on multiple long term projects and then this happened. I’m in shock and idk if 2 months severance is good bad?!? Idk thoughts?

So I have two offers on the table : Tuck vs Yale SOM. I am getting 40k scholarship from Tuck and nothing from Yale.

I'm planning on going into consulting afterwards and am not sure what school to attend. I know Tuck's group oriented teaching is slightly more geared towards consulting.

What has been making me hesitate is the global presence of what Yale has in its name.

Would you say Yale has almost equal chance of getting into MBB as Tuck?

Does anyone have any advice as far as referencing a disability during the interview process? I have a speech disorder where I am sometimes (maybe a week out of the month) unable to communicate verbally at all. Should I bring this up because the interviewer can’t? Should I only bring it up if it becomes observable? Should I do my best to hide it until I’m hired?

Starting my counseling career on Tuesday and I’m scared to fail. What if I say something stupid and hurt my clients and make it worse? This is a second career for me so is hard to be older and a novice. I know it’s not about me and that I will truly care so I keep reminding myself of that. I am thinking about moving into private practice. I am three years out of graduate school ( I went to school for clincial mental health counseling).
