Has anyone created an introduction video of themselves and placed it on the homepage of their portfolio? I'm trying to find a way to make my portfolio stand out a little more and I have been thinking of creating a little video about myself and I wondered if anyone had any advice on the topic.

So here's the deal: I've been in the industry for 8 years now—and I still feel my best work is my spec work. Is there a point at which it's simply no longer appropriate to show spec work in a book?
