i have! i would pump every 3 hours. i would usually try to time it to where i was pumping on the way to work so that i didn’t have to pump again until 11 or noon
I did as well with both my kids, I agree with the every 3 hours. Block your calendar and save yourself tasks like reviewing work papers, doing CPE or other solo type things. Get an awesome hands free bra if you don’t have a machine that is more of a hands free set up. Also buy extra parts so you don’t have to wash anything during the day, it will save you time during work hours. I had enough clean set ups for all my work sessions. I was also an auditor and back then we were 100% on client site so I also learned to make friends with their HR people so I knew how to reserve wellness rooms or if there were special fridges or other accommodation. It wasn’t always easy but I eventually figured it out at most of my clients.
Yep. Took less time than some of these smoke breaks.
When I first went back to work I’d block 2 30 minute periods a day for pumping. As time went on I’d only need to block 1 as my pumping schedule decreased. Most offices I’ve been to have designated mother’s rooms with a special fridge! I’d usually do 10 AM and 2PM. I was typically on an every 4 hour schedule by the time I went back to work. Make sure you have a good pump bag and extra sets of parts! I was comfortable enough to use the fridge hack so I’d only bring one set and then a small lunchbox/cooler to bring my milk and parts home in
