Do you mean to get things done for your customer? The best strategy is asking the most senior person you can find on the customer side to send an escalation to the most senior person on the CSG side and magically the problem gets very quickly resolved

This right here. You network up at your customer to remove blockers from that side, and your value to them is instructing them on what their sales person's skip level's phone number is, because no one in services leadership will give a client the time of day unless it comes from a sales leader with a license renewal on the line. Too many $200k+ tech consulting bodies are exiled in staff aug Siberia, and get a pat on the head at best when they escalate concerns on the services end....
