Has anyone gone from consulting to a tech client success / account manager role? I don’t really like consulting work and I feel like this might be a good stepping stone to a more sales focused role

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. I feel like it gave the impression that I don’t know what I’m doing. Any suggestion how I can recover from this?

I received a take home case study for a strategic finance position. They gave me historical statements for the last 3 years (quarterly) and asked for insights/observations and opportunities/trends. I got a salary range for junior manager from Deloitte in NL that’s lower than the salary range of a starting senior consultant in pwc. I was under the impression manager in pwc is junior manager in D and senior manager in pwc = manager in D

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.
