Getting worried about hours. Last year I was really low (first year associate), I’ve had really good reviews so far and no negative feedback. Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

Sharing for anyone looking R/GA reached out to me about a position in NYC (remote currently, potentially always remote working on Eastern time) rate was capped at $145K if anyone is looking.

Do you think potential bosses get intimidated when a candidate for a job has about the same amount of experience as them? And won’t hire them for fear that employee might try to take their job once they get in. I know a Sr who has been looking and wondering if this might be a roadblock for her.
