Has anyone moved from consulting to CRE development? Currently at a T2 firm, not focused on RE at all, focus is mainly CDD and value creation. Am taking an international real estate course and have always been interested in real estate (have a couple investment properties) and think development is what I want to do long-term. Anyone make this move? Would love to get some insights.

Does a 20 year long career at Deloitte hold much value in the marketplace in light of the current economic situation? Started as a change leadership Consultant, but ultimately spent majority of my career in Resource Management and Global Mobility.

Would love to hear thoughts on best approach of you are a senior associate at V10 firm. Do you just become counsel until they tell you that partnership is not in the cards or do you try to hop to the first partnership (equity, or at least NEP with clear progression to equity if you bring in some business) opportunity at a say V50 firm. I’m not home grown at my current firm, but do have a small book currently.

Thoughts on 1.5 page resume? I don't have enough to fill 2 pages without diluting the quality of the resume, and figured I'd push old jobs and education to 2nd page. Page 1 would still have most important data points.
